They seem to work pretty good on a gasser. I've just been flyin gassers a couple months now. Little bit of a learning curve. But I like em

The best addition I've ever made to any machine including my Gasser.

The GGS23 is a must on the gasser. No muss, no fuss, just plug and play.

Thanks for the hard work on that one Tom.

Yes, I run a governor.

If I had an easy way to get a 'sky-tach' I may have went with that, but the governor was easy to install (there are two easy ways, one is the statorgator, the other is to use the magnets in the G-23 to trigger it).

Once you have the governor setup, you can then use it to get your manual throttle curves setup properly. After this is done it is easy to switch back and forth (governor mode or throttle curves) to get the best of both worlds.

I like the Futaba Governor because of its displays. With it there is no guessing as to your head speed.

It appears that the only governor to use is the GV-1. The TJ does not seem to support the gas engines. The Stator Gator is a great unit that makes a governor a nice workable solution for a gas bird. I believe that even some manufacturers are now realizing this and are recommending the Stator Gator for the gas bird useage! It IS a great product. Thanks TOM FIDDLER!

Sometimes

have a gv-1 on the benzine EC-135.......have one FOR the pod and boom gasser, and also have a stator gator pickup for it too......just have to put it on and get it going. TOO many projects.......wait, who am I kidding.....TOO MANY HELI's in need of attention! Might have a fire sale again.......Ray, you watching this???

I run a TJ on my Intrepid Gasser. It solved problems I could not work out with curves. I LOVE it!

TJ on Intrepid

What sensor setup are you using on the TJ? I want to use one on my x-cell but it isn't supposed to work. Are you running a 231? That shouldn't be that different than the 23 I have.

See http://runryder.com/helicopter/t65260p1/ for a thread I started about this.
