I have a new g231 heli engine I am trying to get started. Its on a Ergo.
First time I started it it started Ok, seemed to run rough but I kept it on idle for 12 min and then shut it down. After it shut down I checked it and it didnt seem hot..
I used Wallmart camping fuel and 2 1/2 oz. Amsoil.
Every time after that when I try to start it the best I can get is a couple of seconds run time and it stops.
I tried the low needles settings at 1 1/4, up to 1 3/4. The high is at 1 1/2.
I tested and there is spark. Plug is gaped at 22.
I took the carb off and checked everything I could on it, seemed ok.
It seems to be pumping fuel or sucking fuel.
I tried several different methods to start. First pump the little bulb untill there is fuel in it, then full choke 1or 2 pulls then open choke and bring throttle to idle and try to start. And I tried every other way I could think of, no choke 1/2 throttle and every other combo.
When I leave it set a while and come back give it a pull Ill usually get a multi second run and it will die..
I realize its hard to start a engine on the internet, but any ideas thoughts suggestions jokes would be greatly appericated. |
