Does anyone have any experience of using the Futaba FF6 Tx. with either the CC or Kontronic Beat brushless controllers?

The FF6 doesn't really allow you to set a throttle curve - you can just increase or decrease the 50% point by about 5%.

So, on my Eolo (brushed - using the Robbe 825 ESC) I've programmed the ESC to hit 100% power at 50% stick.

Can you do this with the Kontronik or CC brushless ESC's?

Problem solved (I got the CC Phoenix-45 BTW).

If anyone's interested, the FF6 has a "landing gear"switch (channel-5). Just flips between 0% & 100%.

Once I programmed the P-45 I just swapped the ESC onto channel-5.

With "soft-start" enabled on the ESC all I have to do is just flip the switch & it slowly spins up to 100% rpm. No throttle curves required.

If I want to reduce the hover throttle (or rpm) I can do it by adjusting the 100% ATV on channel 5 (from about 60% to 100%).

Much cheaper than a new Tx.!
