Aerial Photography and Video > Any Photographers using 35mm or 120??

Hi All,

Can I ask, are there any users out there that use 35mm or 120 film for aerial work? I'm using John's V2 Airfoil Mount and would like to know if any of you have lifted a decent amount of weight with it.?

I'm using an X-Cell/Bergen Gas Conversion so she'll lift quite a lot.

I need to produce some detailed transparencies (unfortunately I can't get away with shooting digitally on this one) for brochure production. Personally I can't see why their printers can't use digital images but who am I to argue when they're paying!

Hoping we have some shooting film out there.

Thanks

Keith.

I use 35mm
I dont use an Airfoil or Bergen

Airfoil weight rating you can get from John knowing the camera weight you have..
What else did you want to ask on 35mm ?

I have and still can use 35mm and I use the Airfoil mount. I usually go digital for the instant results though.

710mm blades and aluminum upper frames??

Hi All,

Thanks for the quick responses. You must pardon my ignorance on some of my questions as I am predominantly a photographer with an interest in the copter world along with a pilot I already have for flying for me.

Can I ask the significance of the 710mm blades and aluminum upper frames?

Thanks

Keith.

On the Xcell frame the aluminum upper frame is necessary to handle the additional wieght safely. The 710mm blades make your machine much more capable of carrying the extra wieght also.

I am relativley new to this photography stuff. As a matter of fact, this is the first forum I have ever bothered to read. I just thought I would try to learn something about the photography thing. Occasionally, I actually read something here that is worthwhile.
But, most of the time the topics...started by someone with a reasonable question...are overtaken by incessent arguing from the same three or four people.
Would you guys please give it a rest, its almost Christmas!

I have to admit, I do find it somewhat entertaining sometimes. JohnD, you are one funny mutha..."People unite..." Where do I sign up? Do we get uniforms? Can I be in charge of executions?

Come on bruthas, don't be hatin'
