The hanson motor is definately smoother and more power, even though I am not using all the power it can give. To do that you would be using the velocity stack instead of the filter and Hanson's tuned pipe instead of the Min Air muffler. With that it would be a rocket (seen one some years back), but for me as it it provides enough power as is and I prefer to scrafice the extra power for the quietness and neatness of the minair muffler setup as well as losing the posibility to suck in dirt into the motor with no filter.
Joe! Nice to hear from you, hope all is well with then new baby, well, not so new now! Your love of the hobby can't keep you away, and you will be back baby or not! :-) I too am on the fury gasser waiting list, as I feel I've earned myself an "upgrade" or a second helicopter after flying this thing 1010 flights as of today!! Yes, over a grand and I'm proud of it too! This thing has certainly paid for itself more than two times over and I guess I'm due for another machine in the near future. I think when I do get that fury I'll probably turn this one into a camera ship like my Taylorcraft.
Hey if any of you guys out there have any issues or questions with your birds, please feel free to ask. I'm more than happy to help!
