What is the best way to get the raptor off the ground ?
Right off the dirt or a stand set up off the ground

Definitely fly off of flat ground. I think the best place is off of grass mowed short. I try to find a place with as little loose dirt as possible. Dirt will cling to the oil on the moving parts of a heli and act like rubbing compound to wear things out. Flying from a stand would be dangerous even for an expert IMHO. Rod

Grass is the best to fly off of and if you crash it will not tear your heli up as bad as asphalt. Asphalt is second best however, if you crash it acts like sandpaper
