do not work on your piccolo pro right in front of you.be very careful neer it while it is spooled up.A blade hit my hand and split my ring finger right on the tip.split half of my fingernail and half of my finger like a smile. It slung blood allover the kitchen like it was smashed with a sledge. These little micro helis are not toys and can be very dangerous.

if your gonna go.....go all out!

I believe that most if not all manufactures put warnings, disclaimers and such in their instruction manuals. But you went and found out the hard way. Lesson learned, eh.

I lost my infamous tag line.

Piccolo?

I did not know that a small micro heli can do that? I have seen piccolos b4 and the mottor for the heli was like a radio shack motor exept rounder.

Yep, I smacked myself in the shin, and a few other people and LOTS of walls and funiture. In fact there is a hotel room in Washington STate that has one HUGE gouge taken out of the dresser :-)

The fixed pitch micros are significantly more gentle, in fact its somewhat hard to hurt anything with a stock FP piccolo. Change to CP with higher head speeds, and WATCH OUT@!

If you first time setting up your e-heli. If you not sure how the motor is going to react as you switch it on.. best is to remove your main blades that way you won't get that surprise and destroyed your heli.. just a thought.

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to remove the paddles, if you take off the main blades. One guy in HB forum said he was balancing his paddles without the mainblades on, spun it up to full RPM, which happened to be much much higher than with the blades installed, and promptly threw a paddle into one of his walls. The paddles are not screwed on like other helis. Those paddles are dense and heavy relatively speaking, and can hurt you just as bad as a main blade.

Hey, there is absolutely nothing unsafe about pissing on electric fence as long as you do it in bursts
