I removed the copper weights from the paddles on my Sceadu. I like the roll rate and pitch rate. The problem I am having is that the when I try to flip either forward or backwards it also wants to roll . I checked the timing of the radius block and it is correct. I made sure it was not a pilot induced input also. It was fine before I took the weights out. Any ideas ? Also when doing a roll in FFF , the nose pitches up severly.

I guess I used the wrong wording. I checked the phase adjustment, as shown on page 21 of the manual, and everything was set correctly.

I put the weights back in and the problem went away.

loosen the set screws in the block and rotate the head so the fly bar is parrallel to the tail boom. Now hold the swashplate tightly while the inner ball is perfectly aligned with the outer ball, now sight down the fly bar and aline it with the tail boom then retighten screws. This should get you pretty close.

I was wondering the same thing about the radius block, what is said above I undersand. I do not undenstand however the importance of having the pins having to line up with the bottom of the washout block that is mentioned in the manual???
