Hi

Scott

I liked the idea of hanging the machine to figure out he balance .. What is all that stuff in the front tray other than battery ?

So the Micro switch is actually a relay which is activated by radio channel and the relay acts like a switch between 7.2 battery and starter motor ! I don't think that would ever create a problem in radio system ..unless the relay really burns down and short circuits the receiver .. But it is only activated at ground so I guess we are still safe .

Scott

What rivets are those on your machine ? Are they Syrenge made or ready Made strips ?

Thanks

Syrenge made rivets.

Other stuff on tray...
Receiver, fuel tank, Ballast for balance in the "pod and boom" photos.
Removed in the Airwolf.

Yea, the electric start is a very nice feature. No "snatching" on the heli to get it started. It sounds just like a motorcycle when you start it and stop it.

Flew another couple of tanks through it yesturday. It is really starting to smoooth out. I only have about a gallon and a half through the engine at this point.

soon.. Scale has no work done on it yet ..except some cutting and sanding.. Flew it yesterday , it stays happy at 1350rpm .. Below that , tail keeps wagging ... using high torq servo made no difference ..actually little worse.. I really want it to fly at 1200 rpm with a solid tail .. May be when engine starts to break in , it will get better

Only 1/2 galons so far

That was strange about the wags. you might want to look at the delay on the 401 see what you setting at, play around with your gain setting. I have high torque hitec on mine, no wagging issue.

Hi

Naomi

Tanks for the tip . Even though I haven't changed the oil , have leaned the low speed where it sounds so smooth and wags are negligible. I would Run a galon or 2 efore Iean a tad more .. This is the first time I am happy flying this ship..

Aashu,
Glad to hear you making tracks on the benzin.. , try give it a few pull power climb up see if the wags still visible , try the 100:1 pre-mix later see if that wags would totally disappeared.
