| Hey Dr. T
Hey I represent that fact.
I got the v-22 back together ==== ,built as just an airplane with a super tigre .75 on it and I am running some more weight and speed test with it.The rebuild made it weigh in at 10 lbs without all the tilt stuff.I bought an onboard data monitor and now know that I lift off at about 37 to 40 MPH,which will help me know if I am going fast enough in the 60 degree tilted heli/airplane mode when I get the new tilt version built again.I also added more weight to her this afternoon. So far the total weight is up to 11 lbs and I can still lift off and do rolls and loops. They are funny looking as it flys like a hog but none the less it does them.It is nice to know that this bird with a wingloading of 51 oz. /sq. ft still rotates from a grass strip ,flys and does loops and rolls. That is only 2lbs less weight and 10 oz./ sq. ft lower wingloading than what the old tilt had fully ready to fly and transition, before the crash. This is great news as I don't have to rotate at all ,,,or even from a grass strip when I get the tilt rebuilt and do it from heli forward flight in the air.
