Bergen R/C Helicopters > Very basic question about gasser

Folks,

I have been flying nitro heli for years, I sometimes see the word gasser, what does that mean? I guess it means using gas engine and gasoline so that the fuel cost can be lowered. I fly around one gallon a week, so the fuel cost is a lot.

If so, I want to know the 3D capability of gasser and parts cost, I do agrressive 3Ds (I hope those are aggressive enough ^_^). Thanks.

They will 3-D ,but because they are a little heavier you won't throw them around like you do the lighter 90's.
Here is a link to Malorie's 3-D video:

Parts are going to run the same as the 60/90 counter parts as that is what they are ,just with the zenoha gasser engine in it.

Gassers

After you have Flown a Great Gasser (Intrepid) you will have a very hard time removing the SMILE from your face!! This helicopter is Gentle yet aggressive !! You want a trainer that can 3d with the best of them ... the Gasser can do that!! I love mine so much it's going into my L&O Cobra!!

Hey Dr. T

Quote
OLD Man!!

Hey I represent that fact.

I got the v-22 back together ==== ,built as just an airplane with a super tigre .75 on it and I am running some more weight and speed test with it.The rebuild made it weigh in at 10 lbs without all the tilt stuff.I bought an onboard data monitor and now know that I lift off at about 37 to 40 MPH,which will help me know if I am going fast enough in the 60 degree tilted heli/airplane mode when I get the new tilt version built again.I also added more weight to her this afternoon. So far the total weight is up to 11 lbs and I can still lift off and do rolls and loops. They are funny looking as it flys like a hog but none the less it does them.It is nice to know that this bird with a wingloading of 51 oz. /sq. ft still rotates from a grass strip ,flys and does loops and rolls. That is only 2lbs less weight and 10 oz./ sq. ft lower wingloading than what the old tilt had fully ready to fly and transition, before the crash. This is great news as I don't have to rotate at all ,,,or even from a grass strip when I get the tilt rebuilt and do it from heli forward flight in the air.
