Hey Ergo,
I'm not sure what your experience is in setting up a gy 240 so I'll give you a step by step just in case:

1. Make sure servo horn is the length designated in the instruction manual.
2. Make sure servo horn and TR bellcrank are at the neutral positions mentioned in the instructions.
3. Turn ACVS(Heading Hold) off on the gyro and set the gain to 75%.
4. Set Rudder trim on transmitter to neutral.
5. Test fly and make any necessary trim corrections on the TR pushrod itself and not on the radio (very important).
6. Repeat step 5 until the tail locks in and doesn't drift.
7. Land heli, turn off radio, switch on the ACVS.
8. Turn heli back on and test fly.
9. If you're getting any type of slow drift - increase gain, if you're getting a fast hunting tail - turn down the gain. Higher headspeed can also reduce the fast hunting if you can't do it with the gyro.
10. It also helps to have constant engine speed throughout the pitch range - I set my radio throttle to 20-90-90-90-90 on normal mode.

I just got done setting mine up on my VE. Its working great now. Keep us posted on how it goes.
