Hi Everyone!

I'm learning to fly and was wondering if I should learn to fly with the stock flybar paddles or can I learn with some new KSJ's I bought?
One of the stock ones has a small tear on the covering sticker.
It's a shuttle zx with sport wooden blades.

Thanks....Dennis

KSJ

They are more agressive (responsive) than stock. Most people use them for 3D flying, not learning, as they are light and have sharp edges. I have experinced pitch response problems in FFF using them, more apparent with some blades than others.

KSJ paddles are a bit too wild for learning. They make the helicopter pitch up while in FFF. They are great for 3D hotdoging thought.
That's what I have on my RaptorRaptor

the KSJ's are quite aggressive and I wouldn't really recommend
them for beginners. If you insist, at least put some flybar weights
on also.

You can buy replacement sticker things for the Shuttle paddles and
then clean them and glue (CA) the stickers down or use blade
heatshrink over the stickers.
