Im going to build an aluminum bottom frame for my stock swashplate, best i can tell its the only differance between it and the EX swash ( Hi dollar ) . The time it takes to get a CNC programmed setup and running it doesnt make much sense to build one so i thought i would run a few extras. If anyone is interested in trying one out let me know. also i might do away with the fourth arm that does nothing but look like something should be hooked to it? I will probably run them sometime next week.

Did you see some noticable degradation of the performance of the stock swashplate? I just checked mine after logging 200 flights and it's still as tight as before when I installed it NIB. The slop I found was from "EX" washout base.
If you want a good metal swashplate, the JR Vigor standard swashplate fits exactly and isn't as expensive as the Hirobo unit.

Nothings wrong with the stock frame , Its just that im a machinist of 25 years and now have a cnc mill and im itchin to make something with it or it will just sit there. I will probably make some aluminum mixing arms as well.
Thanks for the info though.

dacrews, why can't you do this for a living? Let me guess, there's not enough $$$ to be made?
Wish I had my own CNC mill.

Taipan, well it would'nt take that much money to make what I make thats for sure. I could sell most of the parts I made for about half the price as most ive seen but what parts do i make and who would buy them? Im very new at this hobby cant hardly even fly yet and im allready trying to make a job out of it. Sure would be a cool job though.

Volkul, be patient it may take some time to get them done. What would you like first? I will send you one thing first and you can test it out while im making one of the other parts. Hey the test pilot's parts are free.
