Is there any problems with using regular servos(with brushes) and a DC receiver in a gasser? I was told that PCM is much better to deal with high noise from the ignition and that engine vibration will lead to premature brush wear on regular servos. Anyone has experiences with this situation?

You should definately use PCM. The ignition circuit can cause havoc especially on an FM Rx. Also, you will note that most gasser kits recommend a base loaded antenna as standard operating procedure. With all the vibration and electrical noise, you will want to make sure you use PCM with fail safe set for throttle at idle.
