Crashed? Discussion and Photos > All bent up, or still good?

Hey,
I’m beginning the rebuild process of my Jr Ergo 60 Sport, that I crashed earlier this year, and haven’t had time to fix yet. (I decided to fly my other helicopters for the summer, and fix up/install in a fuselage this one over the winter)
Well, this crash was my first big crash, and I just disassembled the entire helicopter to get a good look at the bent and broken parts, and I’m wondering, the lower frame is bent, but just a little in the front. I was going to replace it, but I was playing around and I think I bent it back flat. It appears to lay perfectly flat now, so is it ok to use, or should I still replace it? Like I said, it was only bent in the front, where the radio tray is attached, not by the gears.
What do you guys think, any input would really help.

Tom

If my wife finds out how much these things cost, she's gonna kill me!!!

I have seen a Vigor get smashed pretty hard and slightly bent the sideframes. It was bent back as best as possible and put back together. Many gallons have gone through it and no issues so far, flys as good as new.
