Last saturday I was really lucky to save my millie. I was doing som mild arobatics (loops and rolls), and I wanted to bring it back gently. I suddenly noticed, I had lost pitch control., The pitch seemed stuck at around +6. I brought the heli to a hover, and watched it just rising towards heaven. I turned off the governor and activate throttle hold, it took some time before I thought about this, the heli was now up around 150m or more. It slowly began to descend, and I could see the headspeed began dropping rapidly. So I just turned on the power again to slow the descend and to keep up the head speed.
I managed to land it by flicking on and off the throttle hold, i could have made it easier for myself by returning to normal mode, so I had a gradually throttle instead of on and off, but only thought about this afterwards.
I was very lucky it was +6 to be stuck at, instead of -6

Janek, do you know what his reason of pitch failure was ?
In my case the servo horn had come loose, I've now used lockitite on it as it was a metal gear servo.
I thought the pitch would be varying when it came loose instead of stuck in a certain position
