I have a picc I upgraded to cp with an aluminum swash and slider from helihobby. The slider I have doesn't have the recess at the top like the current one has. I hit the hub before I can get much positive pitch. I put a Razor brushless motor and carbon symetrical hornet blades on it but can't get enough positive pitch to fly out of ground effect. My rpm is over 2500 (highest my tach will read). I have the pmp head. Is the picc pro shaft longer than the standard picc? This would give more range. I also have little negative range. I could shorten the slider to get more travel that way.

I was thinking about using longer screws in the slider arms with longer cushion tubes to give more positive pitch. Will give this a shot this weekend. Any other ideas?

I got more positive pitch by putting longer tubing on the slider screws. I have about 3mm screwed in which should be enough to hold it. Initially I had zero to about 12 degrees (blades too small for my pitch gage) but I turned the links another 3 turns and got some negative. She flys great now. With the max pitch, it climbed faster than my gasser. Haven't tested with the reduced pitch yet. Should still be good. I finally put the pro tail motor on. The stock one could not keep up with the torque of the Razor
