Would 3001 servos be ok in my new raptor 50? I am not doing any 3d just forward flight and basic maeuvers. I thought that I would spend the money on the better 9202 servos when I get better. Or would this be a costly mistake? I will have a 401 with a 9253 servo on the tail though, and I will be running a OS50. Thanks

3001 servos...

I have 3001 servos in my R50 and it has been fine. But I am just learning to hover and still have the training gear on. I plan to replace everything with probably the 9202's once I take the training gear and start to do a little more than just hover tail in.

It is only a test heli to learn 3D
The heli is only a upgraded 30 size so the 3001 wil do their job.
Did you now that :
Speed 3001 = 9202
torque 3001 = a little less
totall price = 650 dollar + reciever of 25 dollar so when it hit the grond, I just rebuild it.
Buy fuel for the extra money and fly
