those links helped a lot.

Now the issue is that I can't get the arms to line up with the swash.

If I put the spacers the link said to do, my roll cyclic rods will be canted in about 10 degrees.

Also the pitch cyclic will have no length on the arm to get it to be verticle.

Any ideas?

Hey Chris are the cyclic rods mounted on the last hole in the servo arm? Looks like in the picture on the link they are using the aftermaket arms...

I have the long JR arms.

I see what I am supposed to do it just doesn't look right to me.

I think I got it close. I will just have to work on it some more to get it perfect.

I am setting up my CCPM benzine with 3 servos also, The instruction says to setup the servos to 1 (thro), 2 (aile), 6 (aux1) channels. if this is the case where does the thro goes. Also at one time I saw your posting on radio setup but I have not been able to find. Can you please be kind enough to repost it.

Thanks

By the way what type of benzin frame you have ? air star frame or standard benzin frame with wood tray?

Yes, that is the site I was looking at. The frame is an air star with all servos on the main frame.

Ok... I take it your frame servo is horizontal placement instead of vertical one right?

2 front servos outward facing the frame use spacers if needed
and the other one inward facing. thats how you mount your servos for 120 degree ccpm.
All pushrod same length for all three for the swashplate.
look at the diagram on the link for that 3 servo ccpm where to plug those servos into the receiver.

Also for JR you have to change the swash mode to 3 servo ccpm as well.

For JR

Ail - + 60
Ele - +60
Pit - + 60

** make sure all servo are the same speed and torque **
move your collective up and down.. those 3 servo should push the swash plate up and down at the same time. Test the direction of your cyclic movement as well.

Use short throttle horn on your throttle servo. look at my gallery where the position of the ball located.

Hope that will get you started at some point.. any other question email me or pm me.

You are correct on all your assumptions. All the servos on the CCPM are the same brand/kind. I know in the instruction on the variocanada indicates the servos need to be connected to channel 1, 2, and 6. on the JR 955s receiver I am using channel 1 is the throttle. If I am connecting one of the servo to channel one then were would I put the throttle?

Thanks

Throttle goes to where you normally goes. it doesn't affected by the ccpm.. same slot where you plug into your receiver..

Maybe the plug in configuration is different from Futaba.. what is your normal rx setup in this receiver?

This is futaba setup
1.Aileron
2elevator
3 throttle?
4 rudder
5. gain
6. pitch
7. Gov..
What's like in your JR?

With JR, throttle is the first slot.
It goes;
Throttle 1
Ail 2
Elev 3
Rudder 4
gear 5
Aux 1 or collective is 6

Joe and Naomi

So I assume base on the different between JR and Futaba's receivers then the CCPM setup for JR receiver is 2, 3, and 6. Is this correct?
