Is anyone having any luck with the Quick 15? I am no 3D pilot, ido loops, rolls, minor inverted and basically buzz around the sky. Has any nailed the perfect motor / pipe set up and would this chopper suit me as a fun toy.

i got the toki 18 in mine, it will loop and roll but don,t expect more out of it.
i got it to fly around the backyard when i can't make it to the field.
i think it would need a 21 or 25 in it to flip pretty good.

Quick 15

Thanks novaman for the reply,
maybe an electric Logo 10 would be better for me, but i love to burn fuel. What about a 21 size buggy motor and pipe or a Novarossi 15 and pipe, they are suposed to have 1.5hp, now thats big balls for a 15.
Anyhow, is the general construction of the kit good quality?

a logo 10 on lipo's is a hot machine, it will do anything you can dish at it.
if. keep in mind there are a few upgrades you will want with the logo 10, auto unit and thrust bearings are the main ones. the cost of the lipos and a charger are expensive. if you are not looking for hot performance ni-cd's will be ok.

i got the delux quickie kit. it has carbon frames instead of g-10.
it had a metal head and grips, anodized blue instead plain aluminum and plastic grips. it came with a auto unit too.
i did not like the fuel tank, you can't see the fuel and mine was cracked.
the other is the tail pitch slider/bellcrank geometry, it won't be symetrical, at 90 degrees it is at full pitch.

There's also the Quickie EP which is a pretty hot heli on LiPos and is a very tough bird.

novaman's right, the heli flys ok with the 18, but could really use a .21

I love mine with a Hacker C50-13L and a 4s4p pack!
