Well today I was out for my second day of flying on my freshly rebuilt Venture30. Hovering great and I decided to fly it out to my left in FF. Swung the tail around and headed back at myself and to my right. Did this 5 or 6 times. back to hover for a bit then out to fly a few more circles. on one of my passes to the left a swung it back around and lost foward flight. Kinda stoped in a high nose in hover. went to level it out and put in the wrong input. then I was in a messed up deal as things seemed to keep get worse and it was heading down at me and everything was going to hell quick. In hindsite I Wish I woulda nailed full collective and the fought to get tail in instead of wonder if it was gonna hit me or not.. well to make this long story short it ended with a Thud in the mud 5 feet from me. allready inventoryed all broke parts and ordered what I need. I dont know why the hell I cant just hover around and maybe do what I know I need to and learn nose in hover. Think I will have to borrow someons G2 and get me act together be4 this thing puts me in the Poor house.

flying on the sim is the healthiest thing for your flying, before you actually try it. it is WELL worth the 200. thats less than a crash...

Just keep working at it anyway you can, I started with short FF runs at high altitude, which gave me plenty of room to recover if I screwed up. Altitude is your friend at the early stages, low alt looks cool, but it's not worth it! and remember, you can always spin the tail around at any point to save youself!
