Tools and Field Equipment > Pegae Start shaft?

Does anybody know if you can get an adapter shaft so I can use my Pegae starter on a Raptor 50V2?

I can get one for my Fury but would like to keep them all the same.

Pegae is closed right now otherwise I would call them direct. Their website doesn't have any info on a Raptor.

Thanks.

Yeppers!

Your Raptor V2 takes a 6mm adaptor; the same as your XCell....

Hey man, why does my lipo get bigger every time I charge it?

Thanks for the quick reply. Any idea on the cost? Are you using the Pegae starter. I used mine for years on my Concept 60 but when I got my Fury and then the Raptor I went with a hex start. I have now gone through 2 hex shafts. They keep rounding out the adapter and then the hex ball starts to round off too.

oops...

I also meant to say I've been using them for a year and a half. Its a nice system. I've met Pete. He's a great guy and stands behind his product. The miniature starter shaft would work for you too...

He probably can't use the MA flex-start without replacing the clutch shaft. Most likely it is galled or has a flat spot ground into it for the set screw from the hex adapter he says he was using previously.

I've used the hex adapter on 3 furys for nearly 2 years. I've only replaced one start shaft. I'm upgrading all of my clutch stacks at the end of this season, and will probably switch over to the MA flex-start.

Travis,

I didn't grind a flat spot on the shaft, but it may have a bit of loctite on it. I have read that a few people have had problems with the MA flex start system. It's frustrating when you lose flying time due to a stupid start shaft.

I used the Pegae system for years and as long as you don't pull it off while it's still spinning it will last a long time. It's a little heavier but I want something reliable.

So the consensus is that I can get an adapter that will work on my Fury AND the Raptor to use the Pegae system?

Thanks for the replys.
