I have now completed and flown the Logo 24. I have had nearly 15 years out of the hobby having started with the MM Lark and Schluter Cobra, what a great advance. The model went together seemlessly, with a few extra things that needed my attention because I did not have a clue what was going on. With no instructions and just pictures in the manual it was great.

I have a Field Force 6 Futaba gear, as I didnt know what to buy and it took me a while to understand the functions as the last time I did this there were only 4 servos.

Another addition to the hobby is the gyro, whilst it is great the first few flights were a bit hairy as the tail was oscillating violently. Eventually I found out the gain needed to be turned down. Oh well all those hours and gallons of fuel hovering all those years ago seem to have paid off although I am extremely rusty and cant seem to hold it in one place for long.

I have timed the hover without landing and it will maintain the hover for 7.5 minutes on a full charge, you will get another 15-20 seconds as the bades start to overpitch.

I findthe cyclic a bit twitchy however I assume this is to do with the head speed, any one got any ideas on how to make it less responsive just while I get used to it.

All the best
MTP

Ps I will get a picture up soon.

i am not familiar with that radio, but i suspect you need some expo, futaba will be negative expo to soften the controls around center.

Sorry just getting the swing of uploading pics.

I bought the kit from Evolution models a guy called dave was very helpfull however did not have the super servo for the tailrotor however I am coping with an ordinary futaba servo.

Novaman excuse my ignorance but how do you change the cyclic 'expos'

Hope you like the pictures, you may notice it is a bit tight in my garden but makes for accurate hovering!!!!

Oh and another one
