Radio - Servo - Gyro - Gov - Batt > Any Servo for Heli use?

Is any model of servo (most likely Hitec) suitable for Heli use provided it has enough torque, speed, and right size for the job in hand? Or are curtain types designed for a particular type of model's use e.g. cars, boats, planes, Heli, etc?

Don't know if it helps but it was suggested to me metal ball race servos rather than plastic due to higher stresses etc.; its worked for me so far...nothings failed..only the pilot.
By the way; Where is OZ are you?....Noel

Servos

Centering is also very important. If a cyclic servo or tail servo does not center properly you will have control problems.
Make sure the servo you are considering is made to center accurately as well as have the speed and torque necessary for the size of helicopter you have.
This applies no matter what brand you choose.
