Head Button

You guys gave me a great idea. I have a lathe/milling machine and will make one. If you guys are interested, I will sell you one. They will be out of alluminum, silver in color. For attachment purposes, I guess JB Weld or Epoxy would work.

If you get the stub diameter right, it should press fit in. May want to glue on MAS plastic heads. If you tap it in with a mallet, make sure you support the head block.

Head Buttons

I have made the head buttons out of machined alluminum. They are round, 45 mm wide. If anyone is interested, I will make you one for $30. That would include shipping. I am making them so they fit in the hole with very little play. This will allow you to secure them with JB Weld or 8115 by 3M. I also made an extension to attach an air filter to the muffler. I purchsed the air filter from Kragen Auto Parts for $10. Same price, $30 if you want one of them. Jcardillo909@charter.net

How much play is 'very little', and I assume for $30 these babies are anodized? Please send pictures of head buttons to me a rtrickyjr@usadatanet.net . Please explain about the air cleaner/muffler deal, when you've got the time. Rick

Air filter

Air filter is for the carburator. I didn't feel comfortable leaving the air intake open for dirt, bugs, etc so I put an air filter on it. Works great. Also the head button's I will make if you want one are polished alluminum. I don't make parts to sell, but I will if you really want one. In regards to the play, it fits nicely in the hole.
