Ok I got my first gasser and got 3 flights on it today, had a lot of fun and lover the fuel economy !!!! not crazy about the muffler and air filter. What are you running on your G23 for muffler and air filter if you have pics and part numbers that would be great. OH my heli is a JR Z230.

Don,

I'm running the SS pipe set from Min Air/Zimmerman. HUGE improvment in sound over stock weed wacker box. Power seems a touch better also. Not sure if there is a version that works for the Z230. I think I remember seeing a post about one a while back.

Filter on mine is a K&N from Vario. If you look in the gas accessories section of their site, you'll find 'em. If your carb does not have a choke, make sure you grab the set that has the built in choke in the filter mount. I'm running a 603 carb so I have the plain mount.

I've put a Bergen gas muffler on my Z230 and love it - more power, engine runs smooth and definetly quieter. A bit pricey though (but what isn't in this hobby?).

Still running the stock air filter but think the K&N filters are great (have one on my Benzin).
