| Well, I did it. Took my new Raptor 30V2 across the street to my Parents back yard, and flew, a little. A bit windy, but I wanted to give it a shot, as I've burnt about a gallon, hovering in my driveway. I was able to do a few piorettes in each direction, "COOL" and was really able to move it around some. THEN, I got a bit too high, and a gust of wind caught it, and blew it sort of sideways past where I was standing, and it went in on it's side. BUT, no biggie. Fly Bar, and blades, that's all. The main shaft and everything else was spared! It's already set to fly again tomorrow. "IF THERE'S NO WIND" My Daddy always told me, "If you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough" Ha! He did leave out the part about needing a fat wallet though! |
