| I just go a Razor microheli v2 brushless motor and I'm wondering what gear ratio to use. Based on the the k/v which is 4300/v, I would need a 17:1 ratio to get the rpm down to about 2000 at 80%. The smallest pinion I could find (at helihobby) was 8 tooth and with a 110 tooth main gear gives me 13.75 and about 2500. I know some people are running over 2500 rpm but I still have the stock head and don't want to kill anybody 
Are the k/v number realistic or can I expect this motor to run slower but still efficiently?
