Gary,

I thought I sent two bearings to you on Monday. One in a Robbe bag and one in my bag (which came out of a Futura SE kit long ago). I did this so you could see that the bearings were identical.

Upon researching this, after seeing this thread, at first I was surprised that you hadn't gotten them already. Then after digging somemore, I found out that I had sent them to a guy in Iowa with the same name. My bad. I'll send two bearings...in Robbe packages...today via next day air. I think when you get them and see that they are exactly what I sent the first time, perhaps you might retract what you said.

In the mean time, get your model ready, because you WILL have something to fly this weekend and if you don't, it isn't because of me.

By the way. You are the Gary S. in PA, right?

Rick's has my vote

I haven't dealt with Ron directly, but after seeing some of his posts and never having problems He seems like a reasonable guy. Every system will have a breakdown, but not every shop will fix it like Ron has done time and time again.

I will continue to order my stuff through Rick's and recomend the store to anyone.

I have to jump in on the group hug. Ron and Nathan are the best. Do you see what I see in the above post from Ron....

He never mentions price/cost of him shipping out 2 more items OVERNIGHT with out even the benefit of having the others back. I order nearly everything from Rick's and this is why. These guys are on top of things. How they handle mistakes is what makes great customer service....

I have dealt with Nathan and Ron both and they are stand up guy's.
I ordered a Futaba crystal to replace a crashed one as we had our fun fly coming well it arrived but was the wrong one and our fun fly was in 2 days so Nathan 2nd day aired one to me at no cost and it got here in time.

BTW you ought to go there in Febuary and try some of their hospitality. IT ROCKS!!!!

Just a little dissapointed over the mixup in the order more than anything , more my frustration than anything. These guys seem to swear by you Ron and I have not had really any trouble in the past. I was a bit harsh on ya, so I appologize. But I still want to compare the bearings. So thanks for being prompt. I will not flame you anymore. I am really not that type to do so anyway.

PS:I'm an asshole, you are good guys. I thought you were blowing me off but I clearly see that is not the case. Not one bad remark other than mine. I stood alone, wich says only good things about Rick's.

i have no problem with ron. nathan never calls me back. i don't know how they keep business. i call and he NEVER picks up always an answere machine. i leave a message and never hear from him. if i didn't want to talk to someone i would order online from heliproz. they cheaper. i left them because they acted like pricks. i don't know about yall but when i need a part i need it . especially when i am this far away. when i called ron before he got back to me that day. even though i don't think i should have to talk to an answere machine to get what i need. i really want to give my business to ron because he is a very nice guy. that means alot. but i am tired of getting an answere machine .

Dude, I'm the guy in Iowa who got yer parts. I just called Ron to see what he wanted to me to do with them. He called me back in like 5 min. and asked me to send the parts back. I'm on my way to the post office now, but I'm thinking he's already shipped new parts to you.
Give Rick's another chance man, they are really one of the best heli stores out there. I think they do more to promote the hobby than any other R/C store out there.

PS And an open forum is no place to slam, that's why I'm posting this in the clear (as you did) rather than sending you a PM. And you can see why there was a mess-up from my signature...

Yea guys, we try.

You sure do, I have problem with a set of blades I ordered. I called Nathan and told him I wasn't happy with the quality of this particular set of blades and wanted to return them. Nathan told me to go a head and fly them until a new set arrives and then to send the pair I'm not happy with back. That's excellent, this mean no down time and the holiday weekend is showing plenty of sun and great temps after the heat wave we have been having. I don't see how customer service can get any better than that.

I also have to say that I have had nothing but great service from Ron and Nathan. I always know when I leave a voice mail to either one of them I will get a phone call back that same day or the next and that is a long distance call to Canada. This always pleases me that they are willing to make that call even if it is only to answer a simple questions I had.
I also have stuff on backorder but most of that has to do with supplier shortages.

Keep up the great work Ron and Nathan.
