I appologize to Ron and Rick's. Got a little heated due to the fact that I have spent a ton trying to rebuild and upgrade to a 91 in my millenium and the mishap in getting the parts made for my disappointment to not be able to fly after long awainting it. Wich if anything it has nothing to do with Rick's. Hopefully wich it seems, you get better buisness for it. Everyone loves the service they get here, not a bad remark. Backorder

Back orders , I agree , otherwise I have no complaints. Stuff on backorder however is not available at many other places .
I have seen post about Heliproz, Gr8lakesrc, helikraft ... and many more. I guess mistakes do happen but for me best is the one who handles em professionallyu

although i have never done any business with rick's they have a good rep.give them a chance to make good based on that. i have met ron at ircha last year and this year as well and he's a hell of a guy. quite the pilot too. he appeared to be very reasonable and know how important it is keeping your heli flight ready. yeah it sucks to be grounded but give em' a second shot. ......okay rick's, heres your chance to make good

Ricks Helicopters

I buy a lot of items from Ricks Helicopters and I have never had a problem. If they are out of something I ordered I have always recieived a call from them saying so andd when I might expect it to come in. If I have a problem with a item all you have to do is call and they will work with you. Ron Lund was at our fun fly this past weekend here in Houston area only 2 days after getting back from IRCHA. Like I said just give him a call and I am sure he will work with you if you just give him a chance.

I've dealt with Ron, Nathan and Rena and they've all ALWAYS done right by me.

I love that place cause I can get all manner of 'unusual' stuff there and Ron keeps up-to-date with what's hot (ie Perry Pumps, Viperheads and the like).

I've only ever had one mistake and that was very very minor but they immediately rectified it.

Plus, who would put up with a pain in the ass like me placing and order then making about three or four additions to it afterwards .

These guys are the best. I just placed an order on Monday.... arrived on Wednesday in NC. I have placed many orders never had ANY problems.

A lot of times what happens with Rick's is that when they see that some items are going to take a long time to be back in stock instead of putting you on a backorder they open up a kit and separate the parts, repack them in their own little bags just so they can send you the stuff you need.

Lots of people misunderstand that as them selling lower quality parts sourced from some other supplier when in reality they're just the same parts that came from an opened kit.

I don't know if this applies to your particular case but I do know that doing that they make a lot of people happier getting them the parts that otherwise would be out of stock for a long time.
