What is the best oil to use to mix with the gas and what ratio for the Observer and Intrepid?

Amsoil 100:1 synthetic mixed two ozs per gallon. that is 64:1. After the first gallon you can drop the oil content down to 80:1.

I run Klotz at 4 oz. per gallon after the first gallon of 5 oz to the gallon.

Best, I don't know but it works fine for me.
