Last night I asked Mark if we could have our own forum for the Corona and here it is

Thanks Mark!

So, if you own a Lite Machines Corona, start putting your ten-cents worth in now...

I just started assembly of my Corona last Saturday night. By Sunday, everything came to a screeching halt when I discovered the kit had included 2 "Teeter" bars and NO "Fore/Aft Control Arm".

I called Lite Machines first thing Monday morning and was told they had a new person assembling the kits and they had made a mistake in packaging. I guess the 2 parts are similar enough that someone unfamiliar with the components (and working too fast) could mix them up.

I was also not the first caller on this issue so, if you recently purchased a kit and haven't reached chapter 4, page 10 in your assembly yet, you'd better check the parts bag now to avoid a surprise later...

Anyway, they promised to send out the missing part right away via First-Class Mail. I'll update upon receipt of the part.

So you got my teeter bar.

Seems like Lite Machines has a problem getting all the right parts in the box.

Damn fun and easy to maintain bird after you get it together though.

They sent me the missing part right away, how about you?

I have not given up on my Corona but have put it aside for now. The weather here in the Pacific Northwest is changing (flying in the rain sucks) so I'm focusing on my Hornet so I have an indoor flyer.

I didn't even contact Lite Machines. I bought mine Labor Day weekend and really wanted to get in the air. The shop I bought it from was good enough to supply the missing teeter and I just bought the missing electrical connectors for the battery.

Our weather is turning too, but I've been able to get out nearly every evening anyway. The wind sure makes learning tough though.
