When somebody posts a topic like:
"I crashed my heli today" or "I cant fly because its raining"

and most of the veteran members who have like 5000 post just contribute to the post with comments like "I am sorry that you crashed" or " maybe tomorrow will be sunny"

Do they really care if somebody from somewhere you don even know crashed or had a cloudy day?

C'mon and stop the crap.

I can just see some member replying to this post with things like "if you dont like it, you dont have to read it"

If I did the same crap I would have thousands of posts.

I hate people who care about how many posts they have. WTF is the big deal?! Is the number of posts you have directly related to penis size?

LMAO, why does it matter how many posts you have?? I troll 5 different forums all day long...no LITERALLY...all day long while I am at work. When I see a post that yes "I crashed" I will normally hop in and say "Wow, that sucks man". I don't have that many posts but hell even when I do have 5000 it still doesn't mean I know how to fly worth a crap I love R/C Heli's and my job and a new eye sight issues keeps me from flying most of the time so this is my R/C fix. Course then again I am not one of the guys that claims to know anything either

I disagree manuelbar

I enjoy reading others progression, and crashes are fun to read about.

it sucks when anyone crashes... everyone crashes... but there may be that one little tidbit of info that helps someone prevent that particular reason from happening to them... so yeah.. i guess i do care. and whats wrong with some chit chat??? i like to talk to anyone who is decent.....

To all

I bet you got all your posts by posting in a post like this. I bet you dont even know what a translational tendency is. Please take your time to discuss if you want!

Your gay manuel from spain, isn't that where they get run over by bulls.

In Texas we get out of the way when there's a stampede.
I hope you fall.

Plus and more prominent is the fact that tail rotor thrust tries to drift the helicopter to the left. The right tail input causing the drift needed to counter rotor torque is also countered with right cyclic trim.(CW rotor) Pic shows CCW rotor with left skid low cause I don't want to draw another.

Cross-coupling occurs between the tail rotor and the main rotor. This is called "Translating Tendency" and is not to be confused with translational lift or picking up translation. The whole helicopter has a tendency to drift in the direction of tail rotor thrust. It is the result of the tail rotor thrust acting upon the helicopter as a whole. Since usually the tail rotor is located above the helicopters c of g its spot will have a small affect too. This situation is normally corrected with lateral swashplate trim thus altering the rotors tip path plane slightly to counteract. Another method is to tilt the mast which I have not personally seen built into a model up to this point in time. The term is rather confusing until you realize that the machine will drift off sideways and enter translational lift.... if it is not compensated for.

now quit being an idiot spainboy...(thanks to alexander)

Man u guys should spend more time flying your heli instead of banging keyboards in forums allday, I agree that everyone crashes and sometimes if not pilot error (about 98%) then fellow heli flyers with the same machins can learn from others mistakes.
just my opinion fwiw.

Manuelaybor,
"you all" is a pretty broad statement. There are a lot of helpful people here at RR. In america you don't have to read anything you do not want to read. So crawl back under your ROCK. I'm sure your "113" posts must have been of no use to anyone. Figures your from madrid

OK

Budc:

Great post, great explanation.

RCHELIFANATIC: What do you mean by GAY? (Happy person?) or homesexual?

As a matter of fact, I am nationalized american and I just happen to live in spain. Yes spanish people run in front of the bulls. It is called encierros. The best ones are at Pamplona. Guess what?, you are right when you say "In Texas we get out of the way when there's a stampede" because last San Fermin (The Pamplona local fiesta with the bulls) there were like 25 injured people, and guess where most of them were from?

Also what do you mean when there is a "stampede"? Is that when you girl tells you to put your beer in a doggy bag and come back from the bar?
