Oh Mama!

Sorry bout the loss...

When I watched it, it felt like watching 9/11

This is the second time I saw video of a Freya EX exploding like that. The other was doing a low inverted flyby when all of a sudden the heli exploded around 5 feet off the deck. It wasn't pretty as well.

I myself nearly lawn-darted a Sylphide a couple of weeks back but luckily I was able to recover it.

Look at it this way...when you guys put 'em in...you put 'em in with style!!

Chris, your Furby crash at IRCHA has got to be the most forceful hit I have ever seen. I wouldn't be suprised if the hit registered somewhere on the Richter scale.

Vertical, that is by far the most destructive funkey chicken I've seen, and I've had a few bad ones myself.

Destructive it was. When I picked up the tail (3 pieces) I noticed my tail servo had no wires left,, It is now one of those new wireless rudder servo's.

Ah, I am finally laughing about it.

Thanks Guys

Ya it went in hard, I was doing a JK knife edge launch but I was a little to low and missed my timing on the - pitch hehehehe.

Believe me it hurts the first few times you put in a $$$$ heli but after time that wears off and you are numb to it lol.

No lump in my undies. I have been there and done that to many times now to even sweat it. You learn to be numb and walk away.

I remember my first bad crash, I hit the ground inverted and totaled my ergo 30. I was so pissed I footballed the heli another 10 feet.

In this hobby you have to be prepared to crash cause it will happen, it is part of the hobby.

Ouch sorry about your crash. It is hard to watch your heli go in like that.

Are u sure u were not simulating a crash , as the camera was on target.
I must say its one of the best crash clips captured.

I had a nasty one a few weeks ago , with my voyager 50.I totalled the heli , wright off. After that crash , I'm very nervous when I'm attempting loops , etc.

I guess , crashing is part of the sport , not really !!!

Good one ,your camera man needs to work on holding focus during the zoom

I would hate to set up that bird to crash, even for a pic. The problem with our field camera man is that he is not the best at what he enjoys doing.

You actually have to fly right in front of him because he wont use the zoom feature of a camera. We have alot of fun though, sometimes hovering inverted we get alittle close wondering what he is thinking as he looks through the lense.

Great Fun -- Great Crash --- Glad it was on video so I can feel the pain over and over. The guys also enjoy ribbing me now and then with check out this crash video, and oh look its me. hahahahaha

When you do 3D maneuvers, accept the fact that when it crash it will be a TOTAL loss! I do, and that is why I took a step back and fly a Raptor 50.
