Still not sure what happen but when the tail blades tapped the ground, it was all over and did the funky chicken when the engine would not shut off.

That little dance cost me about $1000.00 dollars, stupid chicken.

Life goes on I think, not sure yet, it still hurts.

Ouch Mike...

Another reason I just can't get away from the R50v2! Doesn't hurt quite as bad when it breaks, and still performs like the expensive helis...

Just get flying again my friend!

Mike,

Wow, thanks for posting that one. Now that was wild. That has to be one of the best funky chickens I've seen.

I stuck my Raptor 50 in on Friday. Was doing a death spiral with more death than spiral.

I feel for ya man.

Jeff

To hover is divine, the alternative is rather PLANE.

Mike, my proII did a very similar thing. And believe me i know what you feel, man...

But i figured out the reason and can only blame myself for doing the maintenance till 4am...

IT SUCKS !

My cost was a bit less than yours, though, but not by much.

With helis like EXWC and ProII you really need to pay a lot more attention to everything. It's just too many parts...

But now it is in the PAST and i am looking forward to make even a better and more beautiful bird ! But this time it'll take me longer (no more work after midnight... )

Oh yes the biggest badest heli in the world, thats my opinion for $4000 bucks anyway. My mentor has one and I was so impressed with its capabilities that when I sold my house I thought, whats a better time than now to get one.

She was beutiful, now she's cracked, where to find the money to put here back?

I am actually glad we had tape rolling that day, so I can feel the pain over and over again.

Thanks

Sluggo,

Heli's are like women if you love them they will cost you. Thanks for the compliment, I enjoy flying more than anything I used too do, I have crashed many timeswith my sceadu, no big deal, even my freya, but this is the first one with the WC and I never thought it would hurt so bad.

Thanks Mike

HAHAHA Eric! Ya Canadain. I had to replace the ys91 to the damn case was cracked and needed crank bearings, but I couldn't wait for parts so I put a new one in.

Mike I have been very lucky so far I have never had a heli chicken dance on me. I hit hold right away or they hit the ground so hard the motor dies hehehehe.

If I could have I would jumped on it to kill that engine.

I think in the hit somthing or some part jambed the throttle because it finally responded to the radio, way to late though. And when I got to the bench all worked fine.

I really thought that when the tail blades hit the ground I was just going to chunck a good set of tail blades but as you can see as soon as they tapped it was all over.
