My friend wants to get a gas truck for his kids, something like the t-maxx or savage. Which one should he go with?

T-maxx is ok for fun but is no way a "race truck".Losi and Associated both make good race trucks for a little more money.Think racing, just running arond gets boring real quick.Find a local track and check it out.$0.02.............If the kids are real young you should get electric-a lot easier to keep running.

T-maxx...

Best bang for your buck..They do race them in my neck of the woods and my 8 and 6 year old can't break them.

I now have 2. An original and a 2.5 I just picked up for 180.00

I love my tmaxx. I bash with it, and I race it. If it's for the kids, electric might be a safer choice. emaxx.
savage is a tough machine for sure but the big block is a lot of poop for kids, mind you the 2.5 is no slouch.

T-Maxx

Great for Kids and oldies and it sure beats Savage in a Drag race . Moreover , you don't want kids yanking that big block .. use those charming electric starts and have fun
