Just wondering what is the proper gain setting and ATV setting on the elevator and aileron channel, when using the FMA Co-Pilot, for the very first time?. What can I expect in regards to the control responce, when using this device on a Raptor 30 heli?. I have a Jr 8103 radio... Thanks in advance! Joe.

Joe
For your first flight try about 80% on co-pilpt computer.
I had some slight nose bobbing on my 1st flight at 100% and another had some rather severe. Others had none
Leave your atv settings the same as you have allready been using.

Dont set it to 100% if over asphalt

I did that the first time and it started oscillating and got a boom strike. I have yet to test it out again. I plan on doing that this coming weekend since last weekend on Long Island was a wind festival!!!!! I plan on just taking the training gear off and shooting the thing up in the air above 10-15ft then turning it on. Im sure I can land it if I have issues again. This I will remember to turn the dog gone thing off if it starts to wobble on me. Just a word of warning here. Ive heard from others that the co-pilot works well but I think Im chicken to use it after the last time thats why Im just going to jump in head first and hope it works. I plan on using it above grass this time though.
