I believe it has to do with the molecular adhesion factor of the last few drops of water on your car that creates the proper conditions for clouds to form over said car and begin to rain. It’s either that or just dumb luck…. You choose.

funny you should mention...Yesterday I washed my car and when I went outside this morning there was bird crap all over the hood!!! This wasn't a normal bird. There must have been a FLOCK of geeze flying over, cause that thing was covered! It only took them about 16 hours to locate and ruin my shiny car.
