| Richard,
The oil in your fuel does not burn (well, maybe a wee bit does), it cools your engine and lubricates it and then passes out through the exhaust. The fuel manufacturers add a dye to the fuel so you can see it and it can be readily identified. You are seeing the oil after it has done it's job, wipe it off and keep on flying!
It is good that the oil is the color of the fuel instead of black or grey, this could indicate a problem. I cannot tell if your tuning is correct by the description you gave, but make sure that you err toward the rich side in any of your needle adjustments (it seems that you most likely are). If in doubt, richen up your mixtures a bit, then fly again. If the performance is worse then chances are you are too rich, if it gets better then you were too lean and should continue to open up the needle a bit untill the performance once again gets worse, then back in slightly untill the performance once again picks up and you have a good smoke trail at ALL times!
Hope this helps!
