| Bingo, read the instructions, not just look at the pictures, and it will perform as advertised. Don't set the gain on your 601 to 90% or something rediculous like that and you won't prematurely wear out the tail gears. Don't try to do drill bit piroettes with brick wall stops, yeah I know they look cool, and you won't blow out the gears either. Maintain your heli properly and they'll last a long time. I've had three MinAir's, an ST, SE, and Extreme with hundreds of flights on them and haven't had even a hint of tail gear trouble. It's all in the setup. If you can't handle taking the time to build it correctly then get something with a no brainer belt driven tail. Iow, don't blame the product for your inability to build and maintain it properly. |
