We have received the first two 3DNT's in Cape Town, South Africa but the motors description on the boxes differ. How do we know if the motor is CW or ACW (right or left) We ordered the kits as right hand rotation. The fans and cluches is correct

The first kit we received it says on the motors box:

SPEED 91-P5 "AAR" HELI HEIM/VARIO
RECHTSLAUFER/COUNTER CLOCKWISE
1067HHRX

And on the second kit it says:

SPEED 91-P5 AAR HELI
1067HXRX (the RX is written in blue pen)

As you can see the info is not the same. How do we know if they are the correct motors. I suppose if you have the piston on top dead centre the port in the crank must be at a certain place.

Seriously though, just ot confuse matters further my reverse running Webra is an a box marked 1067HHXR !!!

I think the R is for Reverse. I'd guess that your RX is for reverse, and that the 'counter' bit on the other one is refering to the blade rotation of the NT it is meant for. Probably just very inconsistent with their markings

Stephens’s mail was not working. Got hold of him he said they are both fine. He confirmed the inconsistent marking. Last night we put both next to each other and turned the crank comparing piston position and intake port opening – they are identical.
