| Robe Futura SS CrashWe found it !! Went back this past weekend and spent 1.5 hr's looking over the hillside with my binoculars, no luck. Went flying on Sunday and around 1:30 PM, 5 of us dressed in jeans , long shirts and boots went in to the brush to find it. After 15 mins Richard spotted it, trashed the blades , boom , skids , canopy, radio tray, a few linkages , the main shaft and the tail rotor shaft.
Has anyone noticed the tail rotor failing by the bell crank on the tail box slipping off of the pitch slider ? This seems to be the point of failure and works with what happend when it crashed and the attitude I was flying in at the time.
