While learning to hover the R-30 was a tad to close to the friends and family. I had to bury the machine before it increased my dues to my lawyer.

Sorry sar, the gravity was just too strong that day.

Crap

It looks like theres wires all loose on it, what happened. Did u get a total yet. How fast were you going when you crashed. I am so scared to crashed at 50 mph fff. So my crash reportiore includes

1. No clue what I was doing or what happened, first flight 3 days after I bought my falcon used and setup, must have had major - pitch and just boom struck. (Ripped the upperside frame appart, but it was old plastic).

2. Finally after mastering flying, I felt tough and was flying sideways back and forth. Gave wrong input but no time to correct, too late, blades into brick tier.

3. Gyro must have been reversed or something (even though I checked it ten times) and flew out of control into my house then shot accros my yard. (Suprisinly not that expensive)

4. Flame out, succesful auto, hovering at 2 feet, too far away guide it flat, blades hit ground and tail ($23).

??? The ever inevitable 6 feet under crash. Knock on wood.

Make it idiot-proof, and someone will make a better idiot

Yip!!!!

Sar and I had a suicide pact that day, your correct about the 6ft and under wrecks! Both of mine have been. All of us in S.E. New York had a bad start to the summer.

The only thing I could have done was to slap the pitch control back and give it some lift, but at the time of death you dont think about those details.

Anyway, the crash removed me from the habbit of using the training skids.

The one humorous part (probably the only? hehe) was that when he crashed his rotors somehow managed to launch one of the balls from the training gear waay up into the air, it landed on a tent several seconds after the crash.

things happen in three's

about a week after their episodes i dumped mine in the back yard. playing around got a little close to a tree and decided to hit ground in stead ot the tree trunk. my first crash got away easy though, just a boom strike. needed boom, mains and flybar. about $100.

so now i wont even start it in the back yard anymore.....
