| The bogging is probally the engine just loading...This is normal for a gasser...Check your RPM if you can...I let mine drop about 50 rpms...Although, I just change my setup this week like I set John Garsh machine...I went back to the 700's Vblades
Just get several more flights, and let me know what your plug looks like with your needle settings...
Don't worry about burning your engine up with these needles settings..
I'm getting ready to post my setup window for the new 231 that I shared with you
Just do not go below 1 1/4 on the high...and 1 3/8's on the low...If your rpms drops, and doesn't hold, always richen first, if you don't know...Remember what effect it had...If you don't see a change, put the needle back, and reduce pitch a little...
When you start doing aerobatics, you'll need to mix swashplate to throttle mixing, or get a gov, for the engine to keep cooling properly..
You can have the needles perfect for straight level, and normal turns, but if you really do hard turns, and keep it there, it will heat up , and loose rpm, and then quit...I say this to help you understand some of the quirks of the gas engine...Introduce the gov or mixing in the same situation, it will run, and load all day long, ok?
Many regards,
