| Hi folks,
I'm setting up a new Raptor with a Century PG2000 gyro. When the tail rotor servo is moved from center to left or right, the servo stops at about 65% of the transmitter stick travel. From that point to the full limit of stick travel, there is no more servo travel. Adjusting gyro gain doesn't affect. I have REVO inhibited; no EXPO; ATV set to 100% left and right. If I bypass the gyro and plug the servo directly in the receiver, full stick travel results in full servo travel. I thought maybe something was whacked with the Futaba 8U transmitter or Futaba receiver I have, so I plugged the gyro and servo into another receiver of a different make (Hitec). I also used a Hitec transmitter. Same thing. Servo stops at about 65% of stick travel with the gyro in the system. Remove the gyro and I get full servo travel when the stick is moved all the way left or right.
As the gyro was purchased used I don't know its actual history. I also noticed that the center position of the tail rotor servo moves when I switch between gain 1 and gain 2.
Is the gyro damaged? Anyone out there have a PG2000 who can help? Thanks.
