I'm looking to cycle and mostly overnight charge my Tx Nimh and my Rx NiCd.
I don't fly electrics, just my Tx and Rx packs needs charging, and i normally will use it at home with a power supply.

Any advice? IS the Triton worth the extra $20? or which is better for what ai want to do? They sound very very similar to me.

thanks
jason

Triton

Hi,

If you are gonna charge metal hydrides Nimh, choose Triton. Supernova has some issues when charging nimh. The Triton is also capable of charging Lithium ions. the Supernova does not.

Yes, I have supernova and it has problem charging nimh. The problem is with false peak so it usually stop short. I don't know about Triton charger. Personnaly I will get a charger that can charge Lipo, you never know what you will fly in the future.
