problem

Is the problem you had to fix with a coke can just something that happend to your kit, or it a problem with the production?

Dear Bill,

I guess I am not the only one to face this problem. The molding of the box that holds the sliding tray on mine in fact is in a little >< shape instead of straight line where it should be.

Another thing that I am trying is to use a shorter shaft than stock. The Caliber likes to wobble in slow head speed and in windy conditions. The dampers are a bit soft also. I contribute these two factor to the head wobbling.

problems?

Other than those problems is there anything else you would change on the heli? Does it need all the upgrades you put into it to make it fly well, or do you just like putting upgrades in?

Upgrade

Dear Bill,

The only "must have upgrade" as far as I see is the metal clutch bell. Other upgrades are just "good to have". You don't need to deck it up like mine, I use mine as a test bed for the upgrade parts.

Wow!!!!!!!!!

I wish I did not buy the Sceadu 30. Well, maybe someone will appreciate the Sceadu more than myself so the new Caliber will fit in the hanger. The only reason I stopped flying the SRX was due to the tail wire and gyro issue. Then their was the Nexus 46 mistake Do they plan to have one at the Toledo Ohio airshow next month?

Caliber 30

Sorry guys for the late posting...

At Tokyo Show when I see the Caliber 30 and Mr. Kunii I asked whether there will be a Caliber 50 or upgrade kits to fit in a 50 engine into the Cailber 30, Mr. Kunii said he designed the Caliber 30 to prevent a bigger engine installation. As of this moment I am not sure if there will be a Caliber 50 plastic version. However, refercing my Caliber 30, with the 32 engine the cooling fins are already near to touching the fan shroud, and with a 50 engine the heatsink would be way over the shroud, and not to mention the difference in gear mesh. I think if there would be a plastic Caliber 50, there would be a new main frame.

As to my Sceadu page part II, at this moment its still in my computer as draft....give me some time, guys!

Oh, you've tried the Caliber 30? And, after trying it, you feel that you must say that it is better than the Raptor? I think we should base our opinions on the particular model's merits.

I guess it is a credit to the Raptor's popularity that everyone has to compare new models to it. It has set a standard? I don't really think so. As you said, there are other fish in the sea.

It seems that people cannot discuss the positives and negatives of a model without dissing another model.''

I currently have 8 birds, and they all have things that I like or dislike about each.
