Guys on the Ball-in-swash mod, do you just leave the black tube out all together. I'm also doing the collar mod now too, so it looks like to me you just leave out the tube.

I havent done the new aluminum swash mod
I would say yes leave the black tube off. That is the whole point in the colar mod to begin with. The tube binds against the stock swashplate.
When I removed my tube it was cut in half by the swash plate due to friction. I would also say that the new swash plate would not use the black tube either. Put it together and see how it works.
