e-Century Hummingbird - Swift > HB throttle question?

I have just put in the 370 motor and when I give full throttle the heli doesn't lift off. The LEd on the HB board turns red at full throttle. and I am also using the hornet MS CF blades. Any ideas???

Thanks

I don't have a hummingboard, so I am not sure, but I believe the led is supposed to turn red at full throttle. Hopefully, someone flying the hornet CF blades with the 370 will answer, but I believe you may need a pinion gear with more teeth. The hornet blades have less pitch than the stock HB blades, and require a higher head speed to fly. Also, make sure you have the FP hornet blades and not the CP blades.

My advice is dump the 370 motor..... I had the same problem.... much worst for the bird seeds... the bird won't lift more than 2 feet..... Switch to a Speed 300 with an 8 tooth gear pinion and a B2C tail motor... and make yourself some 8 cell packs....

Something to figure about
Weight of the packs...( taken with kitchen balance)

7 cell 600mAh "Stock" ----- 80g~
7 cell 800mAh "bird Seed" ----- 90g
8 cell 700mAh " Mitsubishi" ----- 100g

Or the Acro280 BB motor works very well with a 9T pinion....with the Hornet blades.
