The Vario Acrobat is no match for a Fury/YS91 on 30%. The Fury will outperform the Acrobat easily. But the Acrobat has it's own flying dynamics because of the weight and different power/torque curves of a gas engine which makes it fun to fly in my opinion.

If you're looking to buy something to outperform a Fury 90 you shouldn't buy a gasser. If you looking to buy something different with which you can still do a lot of the fun stuff then the Acrobat might be a good choice.

Success

I talked to Joseph at Vario in Calif. Friday late, and he has some on the way.

If anyone is interested, let him know that you say this post and he can most likely add them to his order. There is a waiting list as they are soooo new.

Just wanted to let ya know what I found.

Pricing

It looks like $2000.00 US for Heli, Engine (g230), blades and Muffler. I still cant figure out what makes it more than a regular Benzin. I quess demand.

I want one just not sure if I'm ready to give up my nitros completely.

How different will it fly?

It seems to me, the only things that makes it different than the old Benzin are the frames set, paddle, muffler and canopy. It may be a pound or two lighter since it doesn't require a pound of nose weight and lost the bottom cover. Everything else is the same!

I wonder if they have an upgrade package...
